Yoga classes are offered weekly at OUMC. Chair yoga is held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. and Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Hatha (full movement) yoga is held on Monday and Thursday at 5:30 p.m. No experience is necessary. A $5.00 donation per class is suggested. Our classes are led by volunteers who were taught by a 500-hour certified instructor.
Yoga is a spiritual practice that focuses on movement, breath and meditation. In this practice we bring our whole being to a place of stillness. In this stillness we are open to hearing and experiencing the presence of the Holy. The practice of yoga can positively impact your physical health and well-being as well as your mind and spirit.
